Waterfront Charters have taken this traditional culinary institution and added updated sparkle, a hefty dose of musical magic and spiked the tea with some Bacardi Gin to add delicious flavour: our Gin High Tea Parties are 2-hour summer extravaganzas that combine superb gourmet snacks with an unbeatable venue – a mobile luxury catamaran on the Atlantic Ocean.
You’ll get a complimentary Bacardi Gin cocktail on boarding, and from the V&A Waterfront we’ll set out for an unhurried cruise, taking in the sights of Cape Town and her surrounding magnificent mountains. The music for the afternoon will be custom created by a top international DJ, assuring all partygoers of ideal High Tea melodious accompaniment. As for the menu for the afternoon, it would please the most demanding member of royalty: a perfect combination of savoury delicacies and sweet treats that will tickle the tastebuds of the most discerning diner. From Smoked Salmon Mousse Tartlets and Cucumber & Dill Cream Cheese Croissants to Red Velvet Cupcakes and Ganache tarts amongst other delightful tase sensations, it’s a High Tea of Great Excellence!
